Desi (Adesina Sanchez)
Desi co-hosts LatiNation, the weekly, nationally syndicated magazine show that showcases a new generation of Latinos living in the U.S.

Born in New York City, Desi’s academic and artistic achievements earned her both newspaper bylines and distinctive recognition. Named a National Hispanic Scholar by the US College Board, she later trained at the School of Visual Arts in graphic and web design, pursuing her love of art & imagery. Joining LatiNation as an on-air talent was Desi’s very first television role, and she has since expanded her media presence to hosting Music Choice’s Demanded, VJ’ing with MTV Networks, hosting hour-long specials such as American Latino Dreams, and presenting for numerous online concerns such as TMZ.com.

In addition being a television personality, Desi is also a talented artist, actress, and rock musician. She has held leading roles in several independent films, shorts and national television commercials, and has also appeared live in Off-Broadway theater. A classically trained pianist and violinist, and naturally gifted vocalist, Desi is also working on her first album, on which she writes and composes her own songs. In fact, she was even named one of the 15 hottest Latinas in Music by MAXIM Español.

Speaking of vocal talent, Desi is a veteran radio voiceover artist as well, and can currently be heard on imaging pieces for Sirius XM's worldwide Octane radio channel, branding the station's name several times each hour to millions of listeners. She also performs in comedy skits on various local FM stations in New York City.

There are clearly bright things ahead for this young Latina as she truly knows how to make things happen. As co-host of LatiNation, Desi brings her natural talent, charming wit and spunky personality to every shoot. Check out her website at www.DesiSanchez.com for more information.
